04.03.08 • Christopher Chadbourne & Associates (CCA) has embarked on a master plan for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History (CMNH) located in Cleveland, Ohio. CMNH has one of the most important collections related to human evolution and health in the world and is staffed by internationally recognized scientists and researchers.

Charged by the museum to “revolutionize the way natural history museums present nature, science, and health,” CCA is exploring ways to transform and add to the existing galleries to create a dynamic museum experience that speaks to visitors of all ages and learning styles.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for us,” said Project Manager Andrea Medalie. “Bruce Latimer, the museum’s Director, has challenged us to make the museum ‘the coolest place in Cleveland and the most extraordinary exhibits on human evolution on the planet.’”
The master plan phase is scheduled to extend through October 2008 and will include architectural integration, space planning and interpretive and exhibit design services. |
