The new LEED certified Great Rivers Center will add a 52,000 square foot building for interpretive exhibits and research, a children’s water learning gallery, an immersive 4-D theater and a waterfront plaza for outdoor programming and interpretation.
“We are proud to be part of this important project to tell the stories of our nation’s relationship to rivers,” said Project Manager Chris Tebbutt. “Visitors will learn about the rivers in history and the vital role they play today. They will also learn how to care for our rivers, ensuring that they are part of America’s landscape for years to come.”
