Pilgrim Hall Museum will reopen in early summer 2008 after a major renovation that includes a building addition and two floors of brand new exhibits designed by Christopher Chadbourne & Associates (CCA).
“This is a special project for us,” Christopher Chadbourne said. “Pilgrim Hall is the oldest continually operating museum in the country and we’re very excited to help them launch a new set of exhibits for the 21st century.”

The museum’s galleries are filled with displays that literally “blow the dust off the Pilgrims.” Immersive settings, interactive exhibits and a multimedia theater recast the museum’s rare collection in a new light and provide new insights on the 17th century adventurers who risked everything to start a new life in America.
“It’s a small museum,” Chadbourne said, “but they tell an important story; one that resonates with just about every American. The museum has worked long and hard to get to this point and we couldn’t be more thrilled to help them realize their dreams.”
CCA provided design, media development and fabrication oversight services for the museum located in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
